Ticket Offer Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Each text message, sent or received, may incur a charge as provided in your rate plan. If you enter via text-messaging, you will send/receive at least four text messages. Text-messaging may not be available through all wireless carriers.
1. Eligibility: Open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of CVS Caremark or its affiliated or subsidiary companies or vendors, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to enter the random promotion. The promotion is governed by the laws of the U.S.A. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
2. To Enter: The promotion begins at 8:00 a.m. (ET) on June 9, 2010 and will end at 5:00 p.m. (ET), on June 17, 2010. To enter use a two-way, text-messaging capable device and text CVSGolf to 74700. One (1) entry per person or text-messaging device. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same text-messaging capable device. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different text-messaging capable devices will void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified.
3. Random Selection: Winners will be selected and determined at random. Winners will be notified via either text message or phone from the CVS Caremark Charity Classic tournament staff. Winners will need to complete an affidavit and release form to receive tickets.
4. Thirty (30) Prizes: One (1) pair of good-any-day tickets to the CVS Caremark Charity Classic, June 27-29, 2010 at Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, Rhode Island. Tickets will be available at the tournament will-call office. Applicable taxes on prizes, if any are the responsibility of the winners.
5. Conditions: The CVS Caremark Charity Classic is not responsible for lost, late, or unintelligible entries, lost connections, miscommunications, failed transmissions, other technical difficulties or failures. The CVS Caremark Charity Classic reserves the right to terminate or modify this promotion at any time in the event of any intervention with the promotion beyond the control of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic. In such a circumstance, winners will be selected based on entries received to date of termination. Entrants agree to indemnify the CVS Caremark Charity Classic and its affiliated and subsidiary companies from and against any and all claims and liabilities arising out of or in connection with this promotion.
Winners will be notified by tournament staff via either text message or phone no later than June 18, 2010. Any potential winner who entered via text-messaging may be notified by phone and/or text message at the phone number of the text-messaging device used to enter. By entering this promotion you agree to the use of your name and likeness and entry for promotional purposes (except where prohibited by law).
6. Phone Charges: Each text message, sent or received, may incur a charge as provided in your rate plan. Entrants will be charged according to their carrier’s standard text-messaging rates and entrants should contact their carrier for pricing plans and details. Text-messaging may not be available through all wireless carriers. Check your owner’s manual for specific text-messaging instructions.
If you are eligible to participate, you will automatically receive one (1) entry upon joining. The next return text message you will receive will confirm your entry. You will send/receive at least four (4) text messages.
7. Opt-out: Entrants can stop participation at any time. Directions on how to do so are included on each text message sent.
8. Participants: In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the text-messaging capable device used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person in whose name the text-messaging capable device has been issued and to whom services are billed. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
