Nick Price

Biography

World Golf Hall of Fame member and 18-time PGA Tour winner Nick Price will be making his eighth appearance in the CVS Caremark Charity Classic. Price returns after claiming victory in last year’s tournament with partner Dave Toms. Introduced to golf by his brother when living in Zimbabwe, Price immediately took to the game and never looked bad. In 2005 Price was named the recipient of the Bob Jones Award by the USGA, given in recognition of distinguished sportsmanship in golf. In his 2009 season, Price competed in 19 Champions Tour events, finishing in the top-ten a total of nine times and taking first place in the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am tournament. In the 2010 season he has had three top-10 finishes, his best finish at the Wendy’s Champions Skins Game. Price is an avid student of golf course architecture, designing several golf courses in his home nation of South Africa, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Portugal, and Zimbabwe.
