Biography

This 2008 tournament winner will be making his fourth appearance in this year’s CVS Caremark Charity Classic. Villegas became the first Colombian to win a PGA TOUR in 2008 at the BMW Championship with a two stroke lead over Dudley Hart. Villegas had four top-10 finishes in 2009 including a third place finish at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. This fitness fanatic took part in the charity event "Caddy for a Cure" at the 2009 Deutsche Bank Championship. Villegas has been busy in the 2010 season. He entered a total of 20 tournaments and had seven Top 10 finishes. Villegas won the Honda Classic and finished third in the World Golf Championship – Accenture Match Play Championship.
